Enduro Registration

Many of today's Enduro motorcycles don't come with a "street-legal" title as they are copied directly from their Motorcross counterparts. So it is very important that you register your Enduro bikes with your local government's motor vehicle agencies. This is especially true if you are living in the United States.

Registeration of Enduro bikes has proven to be quite a hassle and has upset many Enduro riders with their state motor vehicle agencies. The reason is simply because the rules and regulations that apply to one state might not be the same with another. With that being said, many states do not give permits for on-highway use. Some will give permits for off-road use only but can't be used for participating in Enduro racing. There are some Enduro motorcycles which are not street legal but come with MSO (Manufacturer's Statement of Origin). Again, depending on the individual state, MSOs cannot be used for motor vehicle agency registration. Because of this some Enduro fans opt for bikes that come with street-legal titles to avoid the hassles, such as Husqvarna or Husabergs.
